Various roles (below) are available to suit different skill sets. A worker ticket requires approval by your area manager. Contact them in advance if you have any questions. Please consider a donation towards camp costs like equipment hire and professional workshop leaders.

Site

Time Commitment: 10 hours for set up and pack down or 2 hours per day.
Duties:
Keeping the shower and hot tub fires running. Chopping wood. Cleaning the toilets and showers. Making sure the camp is lit in the evenings. Charging batteries. Chainsaw operation (if qualified). Other odds and ends.
Requirements: Attend set up weekend if possible. Arrive Thursday for early start Friday. Stay for pack down Sunday.

Workshops

Time Commitment: Three 2 hour workshops plus rehearsals & performance.
Duties:
Leading a workshop where focus is on performance for the cabaret or an event at camp. Typically dance or combination of dance and music.
Requirements:
Let us know what form of music you will bring and any technical support you need. Flooring type. Age of attendees.

Café

Time Commitment: 3 hours a day.
Duties:
Heating and serving precooked food that is delivered to camp. Preparing work surfaces and seating areas. Cleaning serving equipment. Discussing allergens within meals. Collecting money and recording payments.

Healing Area

Time Commitment: 10 hours across camp.
Duties: Providing one-to-one treatments or small group workshops.
Requirements: Let us know your qualifications and insurance if possible. Bring working equipment e.g. table and tent if possible or let us know your requirements. Photo to be displayed to campers.

Creative Area

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours a day.
Duties:
Running a creative workshop for kids and/or adults. Helping to plan or facilitate the kids play, including prop and costume making. Tidying creative area and supervising children at some creative activities.
Requirements: Let us know about your skills or ideas.

Music

Time Commitment: 2 hours a day, 2 performances.
Duties:
Rehearsal with camp band for ceilidh performance. Supporting campers with open mic or cabaret performances. Leading the choir or a music workshop.
Requirements: Competent musician. Ability to read sheet music beneficial but not essential. Let us know what instruments you can play and bring with you.
