We collect glass bottles, food waste, card, aluminium and plastic bottles but please try to minimise the single-use material you bring on to the field, especially stuff we can’t recycle!

🚽 Camp Facilities

Camping circles

The field is made up of circles of tents, each with a nearby tap for water and a central fire for cooking surrounded by straw bales. Each circle has its own colour and unique identity. Its members will be your Dance Camp family for the 10 days including preparing dinner together. Kids camp with their parents but teenagers have the option of joining Silver Circle, the circle specifically for young people.

Main Marquee

Colourfully decorated by banners and flowers, the main marquee provides the primary space for workshops, meetings and events. We have a large custom built dance floor and a sophisticated low energy lighting system for when the sun goes down. The marquee is also the café. Open for lunch, it provides delicious homemade vegetarian and vegan food and can cater for various dietary requirements (just ask).

Creative Area

We have special workshops every day just for kids and teenagers, including craft, drama, singing and dance, with parents taking turns to supervise. Unless specified at the morning meeting, adult workshops are available to all ages.

Wood Area

Logs are provided from local, sustainably managed woodland. You’ll need to split them yourself to burn in your circle but there are plenty of trained workers who can show you how.

Healing Area

Our free healing area offers a variety of therapies and workshops, from massage to energy healing to making your own herbal perfume. It is a quiet area with a beautiful view of the surrounding area and makes a lovely space for meditating or just relaxing and soaking up the ambience.

Water Area

We offer fantastic hot showers at any time of the day thanks to Rumi’s wood burner system. Our hot tub and sauna run most evenings to provide late night entertainment for those who want to relax or gaze at the stars. A kids hot tub is available for our younger members, usually in the early evening. We have beautifully decorated compost toilets, and men’s and women’s urinals.

waste area

Large bins are provided for recycling, compost and land fill rubbish. We try to keep waste to a minimum though so please take yours away if possible.

Car park

There’s enough space in the adjacent field for everyone’s vehicles. Some bring a camper van onto the field but we recommend tents to make sure there is room for us all!

Local amenities

The organic farm shop down the road is open daily, selling meat, vegetables and other treats. There is a large Asda a short drive away or a range of shops in nearby Thame.
